	DORST TECHNOLOGIES is a manufacturer of machines and complete production systems. A successfull combination of engineering and technological know-how. The name stands for expert competence, high quality, innovation and technology leadership, for synergetic effects, strong orientation to specific customer needs and for worldwide activities.
Competence	DORST is a leading international supplier of machines and complete production systems for ceramic and powder metal components. Raw material preparation and forming technology are its special fields. DORST has the necessary knowledge of the individual process steps and of the parameters of reciprocal influence in the manufacture of a large variety of final products. Intelligent system solutions from DORST are the result of decades of research and development and of intensive cooperation with customers and partners all over the world.
Quality	For DORST, quality is part of an integral view of things. Customer satisfaction ranks first, but partnership with employees and suppliers is of great importance, too. Under a quality management system in conformity with the requirements of ISO 9001: 2008, DORST is continuously trying to optimize the joint action of everybody involved. Quality from DORST stands not only for good product quality. Initial consultation service, correct handling of orders and excellent service, too, are all part of a concept aiming at satisfying the high demands of customers.

At the DORST Technology Centre, process technological know-how is continuously being further developed. Customers from a variety of industries are frequent visitors there as well as competent partners assisting in tool development and tool manufacture.
Synergies	Over a period of more than 100 years, DORST has acquired a production and application know-how which is unparalleled. The reciprocal stimulation induced by the large variety of production processes is valuable capital. It is pure synergy which becomes effective here – always to the benefit of the customer and always with the target of proving again leadership in technology.
Orientation to customer needs	Within the structure of the company, a close link between Marketing and Engineering Department ensures satisfaction of customer requirements, with 5 independent Competence Teams attending to the specific needs of individual market sectors. High professional competence as well as flexible and dynamic partners for contact are characteristic of these teams. Orientation to customer needs – the thread tying the company together, graphically symbolized by bright coloured spots allocated to the individual Competence Teams.
Worldwide	DORST is a medium sized company with approximately 450 people employed in various places in Germany and in other countries. The headquarters with the Technology Centre are in Kochel am See, 50 km south of Munich. There is a branch in Bad Kötzting, 150 km northeast of Munich. The most important location outside Europe is DORST America Inc.in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, USA. In addition to this, DORST owns organizations and has representatives in England, France, Russia and in China, as well as numerous agencies, supporting work in all parts of the world. 2000 customers in more than 70 countries stand for an export rate of approx. 80 %.
