In order to maintain competitiveness, it is becoming ever more important that machines of different ages and makes fit in as best as possible in the production landscape at our customers. In addition, there is also a growing expectation to anticipate and react on critical conditions of central components so to avoid unscheduled machine standstills.

We recognized the challenges and chances offered by digitalization early on and started to develop a sustainable IoT solution concept for our Dorst machinery.
We have already invested many development hours, and also integrated much detailed knowledge regarding Dorst presses into our IoT product portfolio and its modular design. This manufacturer-specific know-how, coming directly from our highly qualified engineers, is available to our customers from the moment of installation. Special digital services complete the package. We will continue to advance our portfolio and plan to gradually extend it by further functions and services in the future.

|The IoT Field Manager (IFM) is a flexible system whose focus has always been on reliability and connectivity.|
The DORST IoT Field Manager is the heart of our IoT solution package.

The IoT Field Manager ensures that the data of the customer machines is collected, stored and displayed in a systematic order. Pieces of information from different data sources will be linked if necessary so that the customer will always be thoroughly informed about his machine and the parts produced by it.
We are also able to pass on data seamlessly (e.g. REST API) from the Dorst system environment to customer systems for further processing. Thus, our IoT Field Manager is well suited for customers who do not yet have an established system, but likewise for companies that already use third-party systems for a cross-process overview.
Apart from equipping new Dorst machines as an option, we are also able to retrofit many of our existing machines with the respective functionality with little effort - thanks to the modular design of our IoT solution.
